In an era of social distancing, expressing emotions has become a challenge, with traditional forms of physical contact such as handshakes and hugs being replaced by nods and waves. Nodnod’s brand concept revolves around wearing masks and nodding to say hello. The brand logo features a winking emoticon in the form of the letters ‘NOD’, complemented by powerful typography and colour usage to express a sense of friendliness and vigour.

The packaging box is specially designed with a narrow front lid that opens upwards. The Nodnod brand expression logo is prominently displayed on the front, evoking the everyday act of nodding as the box is opened and closed to remove the mask. This design element reinforces Nodnod’s nodding concept and provides a warm and comfortable user experience, both functionally and conceptually.
